SHE'S ELECTRIC WHATSAPP COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Welcome!
We're so pleased you're here.
She's Electric exists to help women feel more confident about the future by making sustainable living and technology feel more accessible. This community is an extension of that - a place to ask questions, share ideas, swap recommendations and support one another.
We want this to be a space where everyone feels comfortable joining the conversation, whether they're taking their first steps or already consider themselves an expert.
Stay curious 🧐
No one knows everything. Ask questions, share your experiences and be generous with what you've learned. We all started somewhere.
Share thoughtfully 💬
We love useful recommendations and interesting discussions, but please avoid flooding the community with generic AI-generated content, copied-and-pasted articles or excessive links. Share things because they're genuinely valuable, not just because they're easy to generate.
Be kind 💚
Treat everyone with respect. Different opinions are welcome, but personal attacks, discrimination, bullying, harassment or aggressive behaviour are not.
Celebrate each other's wins. Offer encouragement. We want this to be one of those rare corners of the internet that leaves people feeling more optimistic than when they arrived.sed you're here.
Respect everyone's privacy 📱
What's shared here should stay here.
Please don't share screenshots, personal information or conversations outside the community without permission.
Share experiences, not professional advice 💡
Many of our members have incredible knowledge and experience. Please share what's worked for you, but don't present financial or legal advice as fact. If someone needs professional advice, encourage them to seek it from a qualified expert.
Help, don't sell 🤝
This isn't a sales channel.
You're very welcome to recommend products, services or businesses you've genuinely found useful, but please don't use the community to recruit customers, send unsolicited messages or hard sell to other members.
If you have something you’d like to offer or promote, please email amelia@sheselectric.co.uk. We are always looking to spotlight great brands and people to our community in our newsletters.
Keep it relevant 👍
Please help keep conversations broadly relevant to She's Electric - sustainable living, technology, electric driving, homes, energy, wellbeing, careers, lifestyle and the things that help us navigate modern life with more confidence.
Keep politics constructive 📣
Some conversations around sustainability, energy and the future naturally touch on policy, and that's absolutely fine. However, this isn't a space for party political campaigning, political arguments or divisive debate.
Moderation 🔑
Our team may occasionally remove posts or comments that don't align with these guidelines.
If a member repeatedly ignores these guidelines, behaves in a way that makes others feel unsafe or uncomfortable, or uses the community primarily for self-promotion, we reserve the right to remove them from the community without notice.
Above all, remember why we're here: to learn together, support one another and build a community where curiosity becomes confidence.
